|
This online graduate program allows RNs with bachelor’s degrees to earn both a Master of Science in Nursing and a Master of Business Administration. The joint degree benefits nurses who are, or plan to be, managers, directors of nursing or Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). In hospitals applying for the American Nurses Credentialing Commission’s (ANCC) Magnet status, nurse managers will be required to hold an MSN by 2013. The MBA curriculum also develops insight and foresight, and deepens the understanding of the quantitative and qualitative relationships within organizations.
