Sociology - Social Work Concentration

This concentration prepares the student for a constructive and rewarding career serving individuals, families, and/or groups in various socio-economic settings. The student will have opportunities for field placement in human service agencies, as well as receive a solid academic foundation in preparation for graduate studies, should the student wish to pursue a Master of Social Work or a related degree. The Bachelor of Arts major in Sociology includes two semesters of foreign language study.

Students must obtain a C- or better in each course required for the major, minor and the concentration.
